TV effects to boost Web applications

Net surfers could soon be seeing TV-style special effects and editing techniques on the Web, following a deal between Website creation firm InteResource and TV ad post-production outfit Complete Facilities.

The deal, initially for six months, gives InteResource access to Complete’s range of services. InteResource has worked on Website creation and services for a number of major clients, including Levi’s, The Daily Telegraph, Price Waterhouse and HM Treasury.

According to chief executive John Strickland, the link-up “may well help us to bring a less rigid look to the work that has so far been seen”.

Andrew Christie, managing director of Complete, says: “We have a great deal of equipment that earns its keep making commercials but could very easily turn its hand to other Web applications.”
