Swallow Hotels wins top ad prize

Swallow Hotels has been awarded best advertising campaign by the Hotel Marketing Association for its 60-second TV campaign through Da Costa & Company, which positioned it as a “non-stuffy” alternative to corporate hotels.

The third annual Hotel Marketing Awards for excellence in hotel marketing, which covers the areas of advertising, promotional material, business travel marketing, conference marketing, leisure marketing and public relations, gained 40 entries this year.

The awards are open to independent hotels and hotel chains.

The other winners include Hilton International Hotels for best promotional material, which consisted of a CD-Rom presentation; Arcadian Hotels, which wins best business travel marketing campaign for its new loyalty scheme; Hilton National Hotels for best conference marketing campaign on the back of its Meeting 2000 brand; Radisson Edwardian Hotels for best leisure marketing campaign for its five-year sponsorship deal with the Society of London Theatres; and QMH – Club Moativation for best PR campaign.
