Greene King to centralise 2m account
Greene King, the regional brewer and pub chain, is reviewing and centralising its 2m advertising account, which is currently split between two agencies.
Adam Collett, head of brand marketing, is calling the pitch. He assumed responsibility for Greene King marketing after marketing director Simon Jamieson retired last December.
Delaney Fletcher Bozell manages the advertising for the Greene King IPA and Abbot Ale brands, and RPM3 controls the Wexford Irish Cream Ale business. Both agencies are pitching for the centralised business.
Greene King announced a 26 per cent pre-tax profit leap at its interim results last December.
Abbot Ale share by volume increased by 19 per cent, but Greene King IPA’s rose by just one per cent.
The brewer launched its new brand, St Edmund Original Strong Ale, in December.
