Keegan stars in Sportal ad
England football coach Kevin Keegan stars in the first UK ad campaign from Sportal, the international online sports company. The ad promotes its sponsorship of the Uefa Euro 2000 football championships. It is set in a hospital maternity unit and shows a woman going through labour. After she gives birth the doctor, revealed as Kevin Keegan, announces: ‘It’s a ball’. The commercial will be rolled out in Germany, Italy and France later in the week. It has been devised by Bruce Dunlop and Jens Hertzun of Bruce Dunlop & Associates.
