Capital Radio is launching a &£1.25m television and cinema campaign for 95.8 Capital FM. The work is the first advertising created by Delaney Lund Knox Warren for the station since it picked up the business last year.

The animated ads aim to show how the station is an integral part of London life. They mark a departure from recent 95.8 Capital FM advertising which has focused on competitions and shows. The TV campaign breaks on February 19 on Carlton and LWT for three weeks. The executions will be shown in London’s 450 cinemas from February 22.

Delaney Lund Knox Warren won the &£5m 95.8 Capital FM account last May following a pitch against HHCL & Partners and M&C Saatchi. The move marked the end of the station’s ‘It’s your London’ campaign.
