Cans that are easier to carry

The news that Coors is to launch 330ml cans of Carling and Grolsch is an interesting development and certainly worth watching but, as your article acknowledged, not unprecedented.

The news that Coors is to launch 330ml cans of Carling and Grolsch (MW December 9, 2005) is an interesting development and certainly worth watching but, as your article acknowledged, not unprecedented. You did mention Budweiser 330ml cans, which were available in the Nineties, but there are also 330ml cans on supermarket shelves at the moment, one branded and one own-label. Heineken has a 6x330ml (barrel-shaped) can pack in widespread distribution and Waitrose sells 4x330ml packs of both its standard lager and ale products.
