OFT refers directories industry to competitions commission

The Office of Fair Trading has referred the directories industry to the Competition Commission. The OFT’s study said that the market, dominated by Yellow Pages and Thomson Local, was not working effectively and there was limited competitive pressure on the price of advertising.
