Primesight has retained the £6m outdoor advertising account for the Glasgow underground transport system following a three-way pitch. The agency was reappointed to the business after a pitch against Titan Outdoor and Viacom Outdoor.

The new contract starts this month with advertising campaigns for Fox Films, Tesco.com and Virgin Megastores across the newtwork’s 15 stations. Primesight wants to add a further 200 six-sheet panels over the next two years.

The Glasgow underground system is the second-biggest in the UK and Primesight has held the account for 25 years.

The agency’s chief executive Naren Patel says: "We have worked with SPT [Strathclyde Partnership for Transport] for a long time now and we look forward to building on that relationship and creating new revenue streams."
