American Idol presenter to host Capital radio show
GCap Media has signed American Idol presenter Ryan Seacrest to host a new entertainment show that will run across London flagship station Capital 95.8 and its 42 local stations. The group has also signed a deal with E! Entertainment Television, which will produce two entertainment news round-ups for the show.

The Entertainment Edge, which will launch on Capital on September 15 and on The One Network on September 16, will be a mix of celebrity interviews and music. The show will be produced by LA-based Premier Radio Networks, which will work closely with GCap programme director Dirk Anthony and deputy programme director Sheena Mason.
Seacrest is also the host of radio countdown show American Top 40 and the morning show on LA station KIIS-FM. He is also the lead news anchor on E! News.
