It is not known if Chick Smith Trott, the incumbent on the account, will be repitching. Digital advertising is thought to form part of the brief. Media planning and buying, held by Walker Media, is not affected by the review.

The Independent has traditionally relied on tactical TV campaigns to promote its supplements. The latest Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABCs) figures show the Independent’s circulation fell 6.7% to 240,134.
