Yardley, Vosene owner picks UK brand chief

RevisLornamead, the personal care business that owns the Vosene and Yardley brands, has appointed Guy Revis as managing director to head its new UK division.

The move comes ahead of plans to ramp up investment in its brands.

The company previously handled the UK as part of its European business, but says the UK market has become so significant that it now needs it own team.

Revis, a former Gillette sales director, will be responsible for developing fragrance brand Yardley and the Vosene hair care range. A number of new products, relaunches and advertising campaigns are planned for next year.

The first push is behind the recent launch of Yardley Lavender Spa, a fragrance with a line of bath and body products. The new range aims to present Yardley in a younger, contemporary light. The Vosene range will be relaunched early next year following the development of new products.

Lornamead also has plans to invest in hair care brand Finesse, and the Rapid White and Brilliant oral care ranges.
