When visiting Newmarket you step into the heart of the racing world. It is the ‘Home of Horseracing’, where the Sport of Kings began over 300 years ago and internationally recognised as the historical home and current powerhouse of British Horseracing, where the thoroughbred racehorse is king.

Newmarket Racecourses is the perfect venue to entertain clients, build relationships or to simply enjoy a special day out and has two distinct racecourses for you to choose from.

The NatWest Rowley Mile hosts world-class racing throughout the spring and autumn months. Few sporting occasions can match the drama, spectacle and excitement of its flagship event, The Stan James Guineas Festival, held on the most historic stretch of turf in the entire world of sport, in early May or the superlative Champions’ Day, the single best day’s racing in the UK.

Summer at Newmarket means the magical romance of the July Course, an oasis of sun drappled lawns, magnificent beech trees, flourishing flowers, thatched roofs and traditional grandstands. Highlights include the must-go social and sporting occasion of the summer, The Ritz Club July Festival and the ever-popular Newmarket Nights, evening racing followed by a concert from a well-known band or artiste.

Entertaining at either of Newmarket’s two courses combines outstanding facilities with top class service and the unique opportunity to experience racing at the world-renowned home of the sport.

Newmarket Racecourses is also an established venue for meetings, conferences, outdoor and team building events. The NatWest Rowley Mile Conference Centre has over 30 flexible rooms which can cater for 2 – 300 delegates with a fully experienced team of staff able to cater for every client requirement.
