Ferrari opens first UK store

Ferrari is opening its first store in the UK. The two-storey, 550sq metre venue will be located on London’s Regent Street and opens in the autumn. Ferrari already has 20 outlets around the world, in countries from the US to China, as well as several in its home market of Italy.

The London store will be managed by the Percassi Group, which also owns the Ferrari store in Milan. It will stock the entire range of Prancing Horse products aimed at Formula One fans, GT enthusiasts, children and collectors.

Ferrari’s parent company Fiat opened its flagship store in London last month to act as a focal point for its brand (MW.co.uk, November 27, 2007). The site doubles as an event venue for fashion shows, receptions and marketing activity.

As well as showcasing Fiat’s new range of cars – including its new 500 model – the store is also designed to “enlighten, inform and entertain” visitors.
