P&O Cruises is reviewing its £7m advertising and media accounts. Incumbents Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy and Starcom are repitching for the business.

It is understood that the pitch, which is being overseen by the AAR, is part of a wider review of all suppliers to Carnival, P&O’s owners. It does not affect P&O ferries, which is a separate account.

The company offers cruises to 90 destinations, across Africa, Asia, South and Central America, the Middle East and Europe. It also offers round the world voyages, and its fleet includes Aurora (pictured)and Orianna.

The company recently launched a customer acquisition marketing campaign in a bid to encourage 35 to 45 year old professionals to consider a cruise holiday. It has also relaunched its website in a bid to attract younger customers by promoting the range of activities available on board.
