Futurebrand axes senior management

Futurebrand has axed its senior management team led by managing director Jasmine Montgomery in a restructure.

Other casualties of the restructure include managing creative director Tina Prior and head of strategy Piers Guilar and more redundancies are expected. The agency was unavailable for comment.

Futurebrand, part of the Interpublic Group, recently appointed European CEO Patrick Smith to global CEO to replace Jean-Louis Dumeu.

Senior personnel still at the UK office include head of client services Andrew Mulholland and new business director Tim Hill.

Montgomery and Prior were both promoted to their positions last February. The former was handed responsibility for overseeing the London business and the company’s offering, including corporate identity, brand strategy and consumer branding.

Montgomery joined the design agency in 2003 and was previously a head of strategy at DBS Bank in Singapore. She has also worked at Interbrand on clients including Unilever.

Prior joined Futurebrand in 2007 from Lambie Nairn where her clients include O2.

The agency has just created a new look for Cadbury’s Roses, which celebrates its 70th anniversary this year.

Separately Landor is in the process of making six redundancies.
