Drinkaware names digital and PR agenies for project

The Drinkaware Trust has awarded Enable Interactive and Frank PR with a £1m digital and PR brief.
The two will work with the charity’s in-house communications and digital teams on a number of initiatives aimed at increasing alcohol abuse awareness.
The account will be led by Enable Interactive strategy director Matt Connolly and Frank MD Andrew Bloch.
Drinkaware chief executive Chris Sorek said appointing the two made sense for the charity as it looked to ramp up its below the line activity.
“We want to spread the message about responsible drinking, and wanted to work with agencies that would allow us to do that in a fully integrated manner.”
Enable and Frank won the account following a joint pitch; they had previously worked together on a campaign for mental health charity Rethink last year.
