The 100 and 200m Gold medal winner has signed with sports marketing agency nva management with the aim of developing “his brand in the UK and Europe and to identify the right brand partners.”

The agency says it is currently in a “bidding war” over the right to publish the Jamaican sprinter’s autobiography and is in“discussions with many leading brands” over new partnerships.

Bolt is one of athletics’ most sought after brand ambassadors after smashing the world 100m and 200m records at last year’s Olympic Games.

He currently has partnerships with Puma, Digicel and Gatorade.

Bolt has been with Puma since 2002. He wore golden Puma shoes that had “Beijing 100 m Gold” written across them during the Beijing 100 m final.

Nva management also counts Manchester United and England defender Rio Ferdinand among its clients.
