Aviva to boost marketing team

Aviva is looking to boost staff numbers in its UK Life marketing team by 10% as the company seeks to increase consumer knowledge of its services.

The life insurance and pensions provider, which has recently rebranded from Norwich Union, aims to add up to 14 marketers
to its existing team of 90 following a recent restructure, which merged the brand and communications teams.

The new staff will work within the marketing, brand and communication teams in a mixture of roles across above and below-the-line advertising, sponsorship and internal communications and planning.

A spokeswoman for Aviva says the new roles and restructure aim to “ensure that we remain well placed to continue to support the brand and the recent name change.”

Aviva has recently launched the second phase of its strategy to establish the brand in the UK.
