The contract involves online, including video, and mobile ad sales for the majority of clubs in the Premier League, Football League and Football Conference.

The request for proposals comes a week after new media age revealed incumbent Sky Digital Media had handed the contract to Perform Sales for the remainder of the current season

FLi general manager Kieron Kilbride, said, “We’re one of the largest football networks in Europe and our websites receive more than 120m ad impressions every month. This is a great opportunity for the right company to make a connection with our network’s 6m users.”

Last week Sky Digital Media said the decision to hand the contract to Perform Sales was part of BSkyB’s refocus on its core, own-brand properties such as Sky Sports and Sky News.
