Ikea Kitchen Squad back on TV

Ikea is launching the second phase of its Ikea Kitchen Squad advertising campaign.

The ad, which breaks during Relocation, Relocation on Channel 4 tomorrow, (Wednesday 31 March), shows a woman returning home to find her kitchen has been replaced with a brand new Ikea kitchen, designed by the Ikea Kitchen Squad.

The campaign sees Ikea transform kitchens and offer tips on kitchen design and planning to help customers create a kitchen that suits their individual lifestyles.

The ads were created with a series of hidden cameras placed around unsuspecting participants’ houses. Participants were nominated by friends and family and had no idea their kitchens were begin transformed.

The ads star genuine Ikea staff and installers alongside comedian Sanderson Jones who plays the host of the spoof makeover show, Leonard Sheppard.

It follows a previous ad, which showed the Kitchen Squad creating a kitchen tailored for the needs of a vegan.

The ads were created by Beattie McGuinness Bungay.
