The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is looking to build on the recent success of the England national team by preparing experiential activity aimed at broadening the appeal of the sport.

The ECB has appointed RPM to develop a number of cricketing “events” across the different formats of the game.

According to a spokesman for the ECB, the agency will work on ways to increase “spectator involvement and exclusive content” for fans.

Events will be developed for the Clydesdale Bank 40, Friends Provident T20, NatWest International T20, NatWest One Day Internationals and all Npower test matches.

The appointment follows England’s victory in the World 20:20 tournament earlier this month and success over Australia in the Ashes series last summer.

The team plays Bangladesh and Pakistan this summer. England will also play Pakistan and Australia in a one-day series in September ahead of the Ashes in Australia in the winter.
