Domino’s adds digital role to marketing

Domino’s has created a new multi-media marketing role to boost online sales of its pizza menu.

James Millett, former Audi UK national communications manager, joins the pizza chain as multi-media manager.

Millett will be responsible for media, CRM and driving digital growth. He is tasked with integrating Domino’s social media, mobile and digital practices within its traditional media planning and customer relationship programmes.

Separately, Domino’s has appointed former McDonald’s brand manager Lucy Brindle as national marketing manager.

Brindle will drive innovation, advertising development and point of sale material across the company’s 643 strong estate.

Earlier this year, Simon Wallis Domino’s sales and marketing director, outlined plans to build on recent sales gains by widening the appeal of the Domino’s brand.

The chain has also launched an iPhone app and plans to launch an iPad app.
