It has launched the website MyExtraGum.com, which enables people to use design templates and upload photos and messages to personalise packs for events and celebrations.

Julie Goldman, managing director of Wrigley Global Upstream Innovation says: “Not only is MyExtra an exciting innovation as Wrigley’s first ever custom-packaging offer, but it also allows us to help fans of Extra gum celebrate and share important moments in their lives, whether they are creating gifts, favours or personal keepsakes.”

Consumers begin the ordering process by choosing a theme and template and then personalise the pack by adding a message and photo of their choice. They can then also choose to share their finished designs with other users in the gallery.

MyExtra, which has initially launched in the US, will deliver the printed packs within 14 to 21 days.
