The group operates as a franchisor and has 7,000 hotels and a presence in 65 countries and says its goal “is to be only the world’s largest hotel group in terms of size, but also in consumer value and performance.”

The yet-to-be appointed senior marketing director will lead the brand marketing function for all regions within the EMEA and will be the key marketing point of contact for franchisees and joint ventures.

The group’s UK properties include the Wyndham Grand at London Chelsea Harbour. It has brands that are not yet established in the EMEA region, such as Knights Inn.

Rosanne Zusman, senior vice president of global brand marketing, Wyndham Hotel Group, says: “The role of Senior Brand Marketing Director EMEA is one of a number of new positions created within the region in recent months to drive through the execution of the Wyndham Hotel Group strategy to grow rooms globally and continue to enhance the value proposition for our existing hotel partners and guests.

“We are committed to driving brand awareness and guest preference through innovative and cost-effective marketing both on- and offline.”
