Lamont has been with Innocent Drinks since 2006, first as head of new opportunities before becoming managing director of its This Water brand. He has been in his current role since May 2010.

Under his stewardship, several brand extensions including fruit juices and snacks were developed and launched.

It is not known where, but it is thought that Delabriere has a job to go to. A spokeswoman for the smoothie company says that the decision to leave is “mutual” and that they “part on great terms”.

Delabriere joined Innocent in 2009 from PepsiCo, where he was UK marketing director.

The spokeswoman says: “Thomas is moving on to work his magic for another brand. He’s done many great things here, including building an excellent team, transforming our Kids business and developing our successful juice proposition”.

Of Lamont she adds: “Douglas has a great track record, and is the ideal person to lead the marketing and innovation teams to deliver Innocent’s goal of becoming Europe’s favourite little juice company.”
