The youth fashion brand is bringing in Burberry chief marketing officer Cooke as it gears up to roll-out global expansion plans.

Cooke is credited with playing a major role in the revival of the British heritage fashion brand during his six year tenure at Burberry.

He is due to take-up the newly-created chief marketing officer role at the retailer in September, and is set to work closely with Sir Phillip Green, founder of Topshop parent group Arcadia, and the retailer’s managing director Mary Homer.

Cooke has said he will focus on overseas expansion opportunities in the US and China, and will also look to Europe to transform the British retailer into a global brand.
