Coca-Cola GB appoints top marketer

Coca-Cola Great Britain has promoted Brid Drohan-Stewart to the role of marketing activation director, who will oversee the marketing strategy and activation behind the 21 brands on sale in the region.

Coke Thank You Share A Coke

Drohan-Stewart moves into the top marketing position in the region from the business’ Oceania division, where she was marketing manager for its sparkling portfolio and worked on campaigns including the Rugby World Cup and the brand’s partnership with the All Blacks rugby team.

She replaces Zoe Howorth, who initially left the company on a year’s sabbatical in June to spend more time with her family.

Drohan-Stewart started her career with Coca-Cola in 1999 in its Ireland division, where she worked across several areas of the business including leading brand management, media planning, strategy and consumer promotions.

She spent a short time away from the company from 2007, first as director of of marketing consultancy BD-Activations and then moving on to become head of marketing at Irish department store Heatons. She re-joined Coca-Cola in 2010.

Earlier this month Coca-Cola took out a series of ads to thank consumers for the success of its “Share a Coke” summer campaign.
