The Marketing Academy

The Marketing Academy’s one-off event, The Art of Curiosity: Why marketing and marketers matter, which takes place on 19 May 2014, is bringing together speakers including Andy Duncan, managing director of Camelot and Katie Vanneck-Smith, chief marketing officer at News UK, to offer advice on diverse areas of career development, such as leadership and building personal networks.

Merlin’s Apprentice is a partnership with The Prince’s Trust to create a £1m fund to create 50 fully paid apprenticeship schemes for 18-24 year olds who are not currently in employment, education and training. Each time the fund hits a certain limit, the Marketing Academy hires a new apprentice. The importance of brands hiring marketing apprentices was covered in Marketing Week earlier this month.
