Festival of Marketing takes home top event prize at PPA Awards 2014

The Festival of Marketing, created by the teams at Marketing Week, Econsultancy, Creative Review and Design Week, has taken the award for Event Of The Year at the 2014 PPA Awards.

Festival of marketing

The festival, which had its inaugural year in 2013, attracted 4000 marketers to thought-leading sessions from brands including Microsoft, Virgin, 02, Vine, Channel 4, British Gas, Ford, Dell and many more. It brought together many partners from ISBA to The Marketing Society to host a range of fringe events across London.

The Festival of Marketing returns on 12-13 November 2014 and this year will be held in quirky Tobacco Dock in the heart of East London. The space at Tobacco Dock means that the festival and all the buzz, excitement from the conference programme and its partners will now be presented all in one venue.

The speaker line-up for 2014 already includes speakers from brands such as Lego, ITV, Universal Pictures, Barclays, Ryanair and many, many more. You can find out more and book your place here.

Marketing Week’s sister brand Celebrity Intelligence also won the Digital Innovation of the Year at the PPA Awards 2014. Celebrity Intelligence is a subscription service that helps international brands and agencies identify celebrity marketing endorsement opportunities. It lists the contacts and endorsement details of nearly 30,000 celebrities and its clients include Louis Vuitton, Estee Lauder, The New York Times and Cancer Research UK.

Marketing Week, Econsultancy, Creative Review, Design Week, Celebrity Intelligence, Fashion Monitor, Year Ahead and Foresight News together make up Centaur Marketing, providing touchpoints with nearly three million marketers each month across the online, print, live and mobile portfolio.
