Alastair Campbell to take the stage at the Festival of Marketing

Strategist, master storyteller and former Labour communications chief Alastair Campbell will be a keynote speaker at this year’s Festival of Marketing.

Campbell will be one of a clutch of star headliners at the Festival of Marketing this November. The man behind the creation of the ‘New Labour’ brand, Campbell is often cited as one of the biggest influences on communications strategy on both sides of the Atlantic.

Most famous for his tenure as chief spokesman for Tony Blair, Campbell will be talking to marketers about the timely issues of transformation, modernisation and change management.

Campbell has also written 10 books and teaches media at Cambridge University. He is a campaigner about issues relating to mental health and advises everyone from businesses to governments on communications strategy. He is sure to provide an uncompromising view into expert storytelling and strategy for marketers.

He will be taking the stage at 9:15am on day two of the event (Thursday 13 November), which is at the historic Tobacco Dock venue in London. The Festival of Marketing just carried off the trophy for Event of the Year at the PPA Awards.

Hundreds of marketers are expected to attend the festival that is designed to celebrate the industry and help set the agenda to meet the challenges facing modern marketers.

The event is organised by Marketing Week, Econsultancy, Creative Review, Design Week and Celebrity Intelligence as part of Centaur Marketing.
