Marketing Academy open for nominations for 2015 scholarship programme

The Marketing Academy is inviting nominations for its year-long 2015 Scholarship programme from today (12 November).

The non-profit mentoring organisation, of which Marketing Week is a founder partner, is now looking for talented young executives for its sixth year of intake.

Scholars benefit from one to one mentoring from CMOs and CEOs, who will impart their experience and insight, and boot camps where scholars will hear from leaders across the business world.

Elsewhere, scholars will enjoy “lunch and learns” with CEOs and an executive coach for the entire year of the programme.

Potential scholars need to be nominated so business leaders from the advertising, marketing and communication industries are asked to identify the top talent in their organisations and nominate them by midnight on 20th February.

An “invitation to apply” will then be issued to those nominated with the application deadline set for 2 March.  The scholarship year starts in May 2015.

Current scholar Jack Lowman, senior head of marketing at The Princes Trust, says: “The Marketing Academy Scholarship is without doubt the ultimate accelerator for marketers.

“The access to knowledge, experience, networks and best practice is second to none. In the coming years I’m convinced I’ll look back and see the year with the Academy as a pivotal point in my career.”

The Marketing Academy has also announced the Fellows that will take part in its second programme designed to equip marketers for a move into the C-Suite.
