I am writing about the news article (MW January 6) concerning the status of the Turkish Tourist Office advertising account.

The annual review of agencies which takes place has nothing at all to do with dissatisfaction in current servicing, but is a statutory process orchestrated by the Ministry of Tourism in Ankara. In the UK, your COI operates on much the same principle.
The pitch consisted of very worthy contributions from a number of agencies. The incumbent agency won the business, on merit, demonstrated through its clarity of strategic thinking and a superior standard of implementation.
