In Focus UK has launched the LitePro 580 LCD projector, which it claims is the smallest of its kind to offer true data/video. It can display photo-realistic colour images and In Focus says its is ideal for business presentations.

Electrohome Europe has also launched an LCD projector, called ShowStar. The product is a single-lens, high-brightness unit costing ú24,995.

Classic FM has invested in a voicemail system from Oxon-based Objective Science Group to increase its customer service operations. The station claims its phone activity has increased by 25 per cent since the installation of the Reality AVM system.

Modatech Europe says recent figures from Reuters in Canada show that sales of its Maximizer for Windows sales support software have taken a 50 per cent lead over its main competitor, ACT!, supplied by Symantec.

Central Research Laboratories has bought a computerised sales and marketing system from Tranzline. It chose the Tranzline product over five competitive software packages because of the system’s performance, ease of use and Tranzline’s after-sales support service…

… Tranzline has announced the release of Customiser – a product which allows organisations to define their own data fields when they buy a Tranzline sales and marketing system, without having to pay for expensive tailoring of their chosen applications.

Lilley Construction has bought advanced marketing system Symmetry PM from Workstations International of Slough. The company hopes the new system will help it target preferred business opportunities.

AVG Sales & Marketing has released another version of its GoldMine contact management software. GoldMine 2.5A for Windows includes “automated processes” and a powerful, dialogue-driven tracking method designed to ensure sales and marketing staff don’t neglect to follow up their customers and prospects.
