Wallis Tomlinson, the Birmingham-based agency, and TMD Carat (Manchester) have picked up the 5m account for the UK’s largest house builder, Bryant Homes. The two companies pitched together, beating Cogent, CIA and incumbent Golley Slater Brooker to the business.

Leopard has been appointed by The Personal Number Company to handle its 1m account. The agency has also picked up the London-based Normand Mercedes-Benz car dealer account, worth more than 300,000.

Adshel has refused to allow its bus-stop sites to be used for a HIV/safer sex education campaign in Bristol because it felt the ads might offend people. The campaign will continue on buses.

WPP shareholders have cleared a pay package for chief executive Martin Sorrell which could net him 28m over five years.

McCann-Erickson is producing an ad for Nescafé – called Wonderful World – which targets the youth market. It is the first ad for the brand to be aimed at young people since 1990, and is part of a multimillion pound marketing campaign…

Hosta, the confectionery supplier, has appointed Eureka as the below-the-line agency for its Mr Tom and Mr Jim bars.
