The Nash Corporation, the corporate entertainment specialist, has launched Hospitality Club 95, which offers discounts on corporate events and restaurant meals through Les Routiers, as well as updates on latest moves within the industry.

The Conference & Incentive Travel Partnership Group has bought Performance Management, Thomas Cook’s conference and incentive division. The Performance Management portfolio includes The Buckingham Consultants, Thomas Cook’s UK destination management company.

Global warming hits conference industry – it’s official. Meetings organiser Banks Sadler claims November and February are now among the busiest for events, because organisers are no longer worried about severe winter weather affecting attendance. Other seasonal advantages include lower prices for venue hire and no bank holidays.

The Charmandean Centre, a banqueting, conference and exhibition venue, has opened in Worthing, West Sussex. Its main function area can seat 400 people for dining and larger numbers in cinema-style seating. The space can also be sub-divided into three smaller function suites.
