Desperately seeking sponsors

The Terrence Higgins Trust is searching for a brand manager with 70,000 to spare.

The Aids charity wants a sponsor for two of its key events marking World Aids Day on December 1.

However, the Trust has found the cupboards bare at the companies it has approached. Sponsorship opportunity number one is Counter Revolution, a series of celebrity-studded music events being held in Virgin Megastores around the UK.

The second is a two-hour comedy show – The Big Shag – which is being screened on Channel 4 on November 25, and will feature the likes of comedian Eddie Izzard.

Any brand managers with money burning a hole in their pockets should contact Ed Hebblethwaite on 0171-924 3000.
