Right-wing tosh proves valuable

Iain Murray’s criticism of Derbyshire County Council’s work to keep pavements clear for disabled shoppers was stereotypical right-wing tosh (MW November 24).

Nonetheless it was a valuable reminder to those of us who do not want a society dictated by the needs of selfish shopkeepers and ill-informed small businessmen who understand nothing about disadvantage.
