I read with interest the Internet Watch article from Zenith Media (MW December 8).
True enough, those who have a PC and a modem find on the Internet a massive amount of information for the cost of a local phone call, provided that they subscribe to an Internet access company.
This is where costs vary widely. The notion that the charge would in the region of 20 per month is wrong. A member of our group, Nethead Ltd provided local points of entry in most of mainland Britain for 7.99 per month plus VAT.
