Reebok seeks chief after rejig

Reebok Northern European vice president Roger Best is tipped to take a top-level role in the US as part of a management restructure.

Best was managing director of Reebok UK for four years before he was appointed vice president last April. He says it is premature to predict any US appointment and would not make a comment about the US restructure.

A spokeswoman for Reebok North America says there are planned top-level changes.

However, the company has made no official announcement. Reebok International is hunting for a new US-based head of marketing, believed to be either chief marketing officer or vice president of strategic marketing, and reporting to president Robert Meers.

Reebok launched a global ad-vertising campaign yesterday (Tuesday) based on the theme of Planet Reebok.

The advertisements feature names such as tennis star Michael Chang.
