Card gag just isn’t ego-friendly

The Diary understands the agency has been bombarded with faxes and calls from furious marketing directors with no sexual magnetism and no sense of humour.

“A monumental waste of en-vironmental and human resources,” says one. “In bad taste,” says another.

Creative director Steve Grime is unbowed. “It’s the biggest success we’ve had in a new business mailshot,” he maintains. “I refuse to be swayed by a few bruised egos.”
