Culture strength is US weakness

Mars France has launched a version of Pedigree Pal especially for older dogs, called Pedigree Pal Senior. The product is intended for dogs over eight years-old which, says the company, account for one-third of all those in French households.

Henninger is claiming to have established a new drinks category in Germany with the introduction of Galaxy, a caramel-based isotonic mixture enriched with caffeine and vitamins.

Dole, the multinational fruit marketer, is forming a joint-venture with Oslo-based Bama to market pre-prepared fruit and vegetables across Europe.
