Drawing the line at Gray cartoon

Iain Murray’s column – a weekly essential to any self-respecting socialite’s dinner table conversation – was as much a pleasure as ever this week, but I feel it is time to question the illustration.

I am regularly baffled by the meanings of the accompanying cartoons, and this week is no exception. Does the illustrator suspect (as I do) that vets are a kinky bunch and enjoy having their hands up cows bums, or is there an insinuated link between prostitutes and mad cows?

Anyway, why don’t you consider dropping the cartoon altogether, as the photo of Mr Murray is undoubtedly much funnier.
