Flattery is on behalf of all at BA

British Airways chief executive Bob Ayling is a big admirer of his boss, Sir Colin Marshall, and believes in the sincerest form of flattery.

Ayling has been named Advertiser of the Year and told BA staff: “I regard this award as a huge honour, but will accept it on behalf of everyone at BA.” Well said, Bob.

And well said Sir Colin who, after finding out he is to be inducted into the British Travel Industry Hall of Fame (whatever that is), told BA staff: “I regard this announcement as a huge honour, but will accept it on behalf of everyone at BA.”

Glad they are singing from the same hymn sheet.
