The mop sector has discovered the joys of joint promotions. Addis, one of the UK’s leading mop marketers, is planning to wring extra profits from the sector with a bizarre new promotion.
It is giving away a free Agatha Christie novel with each purchase of one of its mops. “With this promotion we are communicating to consumers that Addis wet cleaning products allow them to relax and enjoy their precious leisure time,” says Kate Johnston, product manager at Addis. The offer applies to all Addis mops – except, for some reason, the telescopic ones.
With promotions such as these, Addis plans to wipe the floor with the competition.
