Harari Page nets English Heritage task

English Heritage has hired Harari Page to handle its advertising, while its previous agency, Leagas Delaney, is still being paid.

The quango split with Leagas Delaney last month, but is bound by its contract to continue paying it until October.

Leagas Delaney and English Heritage parted “by mutual agreement” in May having won the business in August last year.

Harari Page has already produced creative work for English Heritage that breaks this month on posters and in regional press running under the strapline “England’s heritage is yours – enjoy it”.

Harari Page has competed for the account before – in November 1994. It lost the business to Laing Henry in a three-way pitch with Leagas Delaney.

It is believed the account is worth more than 500,000, with English Heritage considering publicity campaigns on a more tactical basis.
