The Meetings & Incentive Travel Show 96 is expecting more than 300 exhibitors this year, making it the biggest event so far.
The M&IT Show is organised by M&IT Magazine and is this year being sponsored exclusively by Marketing Week. The show will take place on June 26 and 27 at Olympia 2 in London.
More than 100 of this year’s exhibitors are new to the event, including the British Association of Conference Towns which will have 25 exhibiting members and a hospitality lounge.
Sony Broadcast & Professional UK will be sponsoring the Sony Presentation Theatre in the Technology Pavilion for the first time. As part of the sponsorship, Sony will equip the theatre with up-to-the-minute technology for a rolling programme of free seminars given by Technology Pavilion exhibitors.
Visitors will also have access to ten of the top event organising agencies and incentive travel houses in the Consultant InfoMart, including The Travel Organisation, The Peter Rand Group and World Meetings, which will be on hand to offer free consultations on every aspect of event management.
Another first for the show is a new incentive for visitors called Around the World in a Day. Visitors will be given a show planner with a pull-out centre section forming the Around the World in a Day passport. Visitors must obtain 20 visa stamps from selected exhibitors to qualify for entry into the prize draw which offers 20 prizes. These include a holiday for two in Singapore, including flights, a week for two in Cyprus and two tickets to any destination on the Air UK Network.
Peter de Savray, proprietor of the Carnegie Clubs, will host the opening morning champagne breakfast, which will be attended by VIP buyers who regularly use exclusive UK venues.
