The City of York is launching the First Stop York campaign in an effort to establish York as a major conference and tourist destination. For the first time in ten years, the public and private sectors in the city have joined forces and are putting 95,000 behind the York push.

The Corporate Entertainment Directory for 1996 has just been published. The directory is distributed to over 60,000 UK companies and contains information on where to book activities. At the same time, the 20th edition of the ACE Buyer’s Guide has been retitled and restyled as Who’s Who in the Meetings Industry. The publication contains more than 500 entries.
