Argos unveils staff incentive scheme

Argos Business Solutions, formerly Argos Premier Incentives, has launched an Argos Incentive Database (ID) designed to free company managers from the administrative headaches of implementing a staff reward scheme.

ID works by recording participants’ performance and corresponding rewards onto a central data system. Staff members earn points by fulfilling elements of individual programmes which accumulate towards specific rewards – anything from Argos vouchers to a customised selection of merchandise (not necessarily from the store).

The system can be used for staff performance schemes, safety campaigns, company suggestion schemes and customer loyalty programmes. It provides instant feedback on who is performing (and who isn’t) and supplies regular management information reports. Staff or customers receive monthly “points earned” statements to see how they are doing.

General manager of Argos Business Solutions Philippe Gayton comments: “ID is a one-stop shop which handles the planning, sets up the database, provides regular updates on the success of the promotion and day-to-day organisational support, including delivery of the reward direct to the recipient’s door.”
