Euro RSCG wins haircare brief in P&G rejig

Procter & Gamble is continuing its agency realignment with the removal of the Vidal Sassoon Redline haircare account from Leo Burnett into EURO RSCG Wnek Gosper.

Procter & Gamble is continuing its agency realignment with the removal of the Vidal Sassoon Redline haircare account from Leo Burnett into EURO RSCG Wnek Gosper. Rumours continue of M&C Saatchi’s imminent appearance on the P&G roster.

The European and African side of the Redline account was previously handled by Burnett, while Tatham EURO RSCG in New York handles the US work. The whole account will now be handled through the EURO RSCG network.

Redline is aimed at teenagers and spent less than 200,000 in the UK last year (Register-MEAL). But the switch reinforces EURO RSCG’s position on the worldwide P&G roster.

Burnett’s hold on the rest of the Vidal Sassoon range and its Wash ‘n’ Go brand is believed to be unchanged.

The reshuffle is described as a “tidying-up exercise” by one source, and comes amid rumours, denied by the company, that M&C is to be added to the P&G agency roster.
