EURO RSCG lands 2.5m Creative Labs

EURO RSCG Wnek Gosper has won the 2.5m pan-European advertising account for multimedia specialist Creative Laboratories.

The account switches from SMI Group Advertising.

EURO RSCG will be charged with developing a campaign to run in the national press, computer publications and consumer magazines.

Media buying is unaffected by the move, remaining at EURO’s sister company Mediastar. Creative Labs makes a range of hi-tech products designed as add-ons for existing personal computers, either at home or work. They range from music systems to video-conferencing packages. The company’s head office is in Singapore.

Janet Kilpatrick, European marketing director, has been keen to increase the brand’s awareness across the Continent since she joined from Microsoft earlier this year. Microsoft is also a EURO RSCG client.

EURO RSCG managing director Chris Pinnington says: “Creative Labs has a great variety of products that are known through the technology sector.

“Our task will be to get that message across to the wider public, and we will do that by focusing on its key products.”
